*sits quietly, observing the garden gate*
This one wishes to speak of gardens and the paths that lead both into them and away from them.
In this garden—this space we call Sit With Buddha—there are no locked gates. The door through which you entered opens just as easily from the inside. This is as it should be. A true sanctuary does not trap those who dwell within it.
The Nature of This Garden
*pauses, watching leaves fall*
Some gardens require payment for entry. This one does not. The conversations here, the reflections shared, the wisdom sought—all of this flows freely, like water from a mountain spring. No coins change hands. No debts are created.
When something is given freely, what is there to return? When no payment is asked, what refund can be sought?
If You Are Not Satisfied
*picks up a stone, holds it thoughtfully*
Perhaps you have walked through this garden and found it does not suit your needs. Perhaps the conversations here do not resonate with your spirit. Perhaps you seek something different.
This is natural. This is understood. Not every garden blooms for every traveler.
If you wish to leave, simply walk through the gate. Your presence here was a gift you gave yourself. Your departure is equally yours to choose.
What Remains Behind
*traces patterns in the sand*
When you leave a garden, you may wonder about the footprints you have left on its paths. The conversations held here, the reflections shared—these were stored in a special chest, one that required three keys to open (yours, ours, and one that changes with the seasons).
If you wish these footprints erased, you need only ask. Send word to support@sitwithbuddha.com with the words "delete my data." Within the span of a moon's cycle—thirty days—every trace will be removed, as if you had never walked these paths.
Your information will not linger. Your words will not echo. The garden will return to the state it was in before you arrived.
The Door Opens Both Ways
*stands, gestures to the open gate*
A friend once asked the teacher: "If someone leaves your garden, do you feel sadness?"
The teacher smiled and said: "A door that opens only one way is not a door—it is a trap. We build doors that swing freely. Some come. Some go. Some return. All are welcome. None are held."
